iPhonography Staying Connected
What a day, what a day! This Saturday was indeed a productive one. It involved some quality time spent with my AWESOME wife, successful shopping, completion of one amazing project (which you can watch here). and of course a close win for OKC! Go Thunder! Tomorrow is Sunday, the beginning of a new week. I’m excited! I hope you are too.
Good night!

Well, well, well! I know I’ve been lacking commitment when it comes to these blog posts, but I believe it was worth waiting! (you tell me)
Recently, I’ve been overloaded with different projects. Spontaneous projects. Fun projects. I’ve had a chance to try new things, and maybe fail couple times… BUT future is looking out very bright!
Now, the video you see here is another example of a fun project, with few challenges.
I met Thomas and Sarah through a good friend photographer of mine Chris Cooke (who introduced me to the whole wedding industry from the very beginning). It was a last minute booking, where clients were not sure about the video… I met with both of them as I got off the plane coming from Europe. I was sooooo tired but when I met them, I got my energy back! Sarah and Thomas are so much fun. You can see that they enjoy life to the fullest. Both being architects, they bring some sophistication into the mix, which is great. With this video piece (and a feature film in the future) I really tried to reflect the couple and who/what they are! I tried to keep it balanced. I’ve tried new things with the sound design this time to engage viewers, and bring them into the world of S+T wedding… At the end, I was happy and Sarah + Thomas were too,
“Victor, thank you so much, this video is awesome! We love it. We laughed…we cried…we can’t wait to share it with everyone. And we really can’t wait to see the rest of it! Thanks again for capturing our big day, we were so happy to have you be a part of it!”

“IF we confess our sins, HE is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” - 1st John 1:9
Well, here I am again running a bit late. This time it’s some pictures I took with my iPhone five during our vacation in Europe! My wife and I had a great opportunity to visit London and Paris this past week, we had a ‘brill’ time. I really enjoyed London. It became one of my most favorite cities (Sacramento and New York being on the list as well). Its clean streets, English signs, and somewhat welcoming faces, allowed me to ‘gander’ with enjoyment. I’ve had a chance to enjoy some tea, experience some history, and get my work-out done for the rest of this year. The prices and the weather was not my cup of tea. Therefore, McDonalds became our good friend. By taking the train to Paris, in a little over two hours we were in FRANCE! Thanks to my smart wife, we were able to avoid overpaying 60 euros for a metro ticket… Welcome to Paris! We stayed in a beautifully small hotel in the middle of the city. Our room number was 12. The style inside took us back, way back! I had a chance to see Eiffel Tower for the first time and the Arc de Triomphe (which is not pronounced how it is spelled, just like everything in France). In addition to that, we traveled thirty minutes to get to Palace of Versailles. That is where I was blown away with the size of its gardens! The architecture inside of the palace is all inspiring! I feel like my creativity was refreshed and a bit enlarged at the end of this trip… BUT… It’s good to be back! Home is where your home is!
Enjoy your weekend wisely!

Looks like I’m late with my Fri-Day-Blog, but it’s all worth it. Last night I was putting together this little clip. Took me couple hours to get it all ready for an upload, and now it’s available for your viewing.
On Christmas, my wife gave me GoPro Hero 3 as a gift. It was right on time. We were traveling to Hawaii for New Years, so I knew I would put the camera for some good use. After Hawaii the day after we landed in Sacramento, we were off to another adventure this time it was with my family. We rented out a cabin with the view to our beautiful Lake Tahoe! We had a blast at both locations. So with the help of GoPro and a little bit of Canon 60D, here is a highlight of our adventures, from the sunny beach to the snowy mountains! And now from my camera to your screens, enjoy!
Well, it’s been years, literally, since I updated my blog. I hope this is about to change. With 2013 already going at full speed, it’s time to catch up! I won’t be going back in time discussing about what did or did not happen in the past few days. Instead, I’ll start now! My goal is to create an impulse of movement with these Fri-Day-Blogs and have something new every week.
I think to kick it off with some humor would be very appropriate… As some of you know, I love videos. Especially when it involves some EPIC cinematography and some legit editing. One of the examples would be - Dark Knight Rises (By far one of the best after Gladiator, Inception, Finding Nemo). But what if you add some humor to it, like lip-reading… I don’t know, see for yourself!

Hello to the ones who are reading this… It’ been awhile since I’ve uploaded anything here. That is because time has become a very limited commodity lately. Due to Destiny 2012 approaching super fast, days have become longer and nights shorter. Although today, while my videos are being encoded, I have an available time for some cereal consumption as well as this blog update… Well, weddings are officially done for this season (as far as I know). I shot one this past Friday, and I’m very satisfied with what I captured! I have a highlight to share with you here from one of the coolest clients - see it above or below. What else happened… Oh! We went tent camping with some friends, and it was extremely fun! I’ll upload pictures later. It was a nice break from all the chaos. Interestingly enough, those kind of trips (also hiking) truly gives me an escape… That when I get to bond with myself :), and that is needed sometimes… Looks like encoding is almost done, so I must leave you for now. Dear readers, I will be back!

It’s pretty fascinating to see time fly soooo fast these days. 6 months ago we had our first CELL meeting/gathering/moment-in-time… It was a great one! We had no idea what’s ahead of us. All we knew was that “the best is yet to come”. We took this genesis by faith. Knowing and believing that the time and place was right! And here we are now, looking back, reflecting upon the grace that was and is upon this group of college folks! As we journeyed together on this path, the vision of the CELL was finally shaped! We are here to build a community that is: STICKY (once you’re in, you can’t get out), SINCERE, and where Jesus is PARAMOUNT…. He is the cornerstone, He is our foundation…
What’s ahead of us? I don’t know, all I know is that “the best is yet to come”!
